what changed from step 045
Nothing. The file is byte-identical to step 045.
What the model said
`0.html` is an empty starter page. The boilerplate is already solid: it has the viewport and color-scheme meta tags, a readable width limit, balanced heading wrapping, focus styles and reduced-motion handling. Nothing there really needs fixing. What would help most depends on what the page is for.
Some small template tweaks I could make:
- **`<title>`:** "0" is a placeholder, so give it a real title and add a `<meta name="description">`.
- **Skip link:** add a "skip to content" link that targets `<main id="main">`.
- **Media:** add `font-size-adjust`, and set `img { font-style: italic }` so alt text looks different when an image fails to load.
- **Dark mode:** define light and dark colours with `light-dark()` custom properties instead of relying only on the browser defaults.
Or, if you tell me what the page should contain (a landing page, an article or a tool), I can build out the `<main>` content. Which would you like?
